	The Evolution and De-evolution of Civilization No organism can thrive outside of a state of adversity. Unless there is impetus to be strong, a thing will not be strong. Humans, over time, have sheltered themselves from adversity. Over thousands of years the species has rejected adversity! So it stands to reason that the human species is no longer strong overall. Evolution is the adaptation in response to adversity. Unless there is impetus to evolve, a thing will not evolve. Humans, over time, have sheltered themselves from adversity. Over thousands of years the species has rejected adversity! So it stands to reason that the human species is no longer evolving overall. Destruction is the natural... Extinction is the natural... Inevitability of evolution, Or de-evolution, whatever. Its all the same thing. Nothing exists in a changeless state! All of this leaves me with one last question... Is there a Universal Consciousness? I tend to think so.
